Well it has been crazy we got here Wednesday and have been non stop going. The mares are doing good, had their first runs tonight and well seen better days. Shotgun decided brakes were for losers and ended up running a 17 something plus a knock so out of the money. Classy is a nother story, getting tacked up and as I'm finishing up retacking shotgun( too buddy sour and nervous to leave by herself) classy caught my trainer in the face knocking her head back into the metal bar of the stall. So after 15 mins of getting my trainer back on her feet she had 15 riders to go. Classy ran a 16.475 I believe and then started bleeding after. Turns out she had a blood vessel pop due to bad ventilation in the barn area. She is now on lassix(sp?) air power and something else. Both mares also got acuelife patches and they definitely help.
So day 1 of racing and so far fastest time is a 14.1 by a pro rider next fastest was a mid 14.3.
