What Do You Think About My Future Racer?

He is a 3 years old Appaloosa Green Broke Owned by Me.
He wont be racing until about 4 1/2 or 5 years old.
So what do you think?

The 2 videos of him are just him running fast

He's a pretty boy. Could you tell me more about racing Appys? I've heard of it but haven't heard much of it.

I quite like him he's got a nice big hip on him however I can not give anymore confo crit then that as i'm no good at it hah

Well he's definitely got good brakes! Haha, love how he sort of hops to slow himself down. Very cute. His conformations looks fair, although more pictures would be helpful. His topline isn't very smooth, but he makes up for it in butt! Fair shoulders and neck. Something about his front legs bother me, but I can't pinpoint just what.

The roman nose and coloring are adorable!

He looks a tad over in the knee to me - but that is better than being under in the knee!

Well that would make a ton more sense, lol. Sorry not much sleep. I just read the tags on this. :/

Can't tell much at all from the videos, except that he seems to have a good stop on him. Appears to have more of a stocky short stride, but again the videos are short and he may not know "how to run" and stretch out yet.

Confo pic is fuzzy. Looks like he has nice rounded hindquarters that you like to see in a barrel horse. Looks a bit steep in the shoulder and a bit long in the back though. Seems to have good low-set hocks, although he may be over at the knee, as someone mentioned (but it could be the way he is standing). I'm not a big fan of Roman noses, but it's the body of the horse that runs ... not the head! Seems to look a bit ewe-necked, but the lighting is poor on the picture.

But overall, you never know until you try!
