Having A Hard Time Making Up My Mind

please keep this in mind when you give your input:

With Pad #1
I will be running in black classic equine boots
with royal blue bell boots
and royal blue reins

With Pad #2 & #3
I will be running in black classic equine boots
with turquoise bell boots
and turquoise reins

(open to other pad, boots, and rein combo ideas)

YES :) I agree!

@ Domino13011 the 2nd one is my fav and it would look amazing on my mare but with this gelding being a light color I feel like it would wash him out...that is why I think #1 or #3 would look best so really it is just down to if I wanna take a chance and get the 2n on that would look great on my mare aswell or the first one or the third one!!! why must it be so hard!?!?!?

@ FreeDestiny I agree with you!! but one of the other?!?! hELP

Personally, I have had lime green on a pally and it washes out and looks like puke color. Might have just been my horse.... but I'm just forewarning you from experience!

I would go with the 3rd, the neutrals will make that bright turquoise stand out and look awesome against the golden pally.

Also, ask the owner if he has ever been ridden in a felt bottom pad before. I have seen some really great horses act like idiot because they didn't like the feel of felt. Just had that conversation with my horse's chiro yesterday.

My personal favorite is the second one but with it being light and his coloring beong light you have a good point it seems like it might wash him out. All three pads are very cute but I think number three would look best because you will have the dark color which will bring out his coloring and the boots being a turquoise will give more color to your overall so i say number 3 :)

yeah I agree lime looks bad on a light colored horse! but #2 would look awsome on my mare! i will prolly end up with both #2 and #3, #2 for my mare and #3 for him, and I have known him for the past 3 years he is drumrunner (a user on here) little sisters [I clam her to:)] horse she is selling him due to the fact that he is not finished yet and they do not click once she adds speed on him but she has to sell him in order to get a new horse and so I told her I wanted him :) she now he is mine :) well come monday :) and he has been rode in the same brand of pads for the past 3 years, never known a horse to freak out because of a pad but does not surprise me.

If you are paying a lot for the pad and plan on having it for a long time, go with #1 or #3. #2 is nice, but more what I would consider "fad" colors and could quickly go out of style and look outdated. Go with classic colors. Unless you need an excuse to go shopping.

I have a soft spot for #1 in a way, for some reason ever since I started really getting my own tack and such for horses I have always gotten royal blue colored things so I really like number one but so many people are using royal blue now a days. Also there is white on the 1st one so I am worried about it getting dirty and dingy looking.

I love the colors of #2 but do not think the lime would look so great on him and I agree with the fact that the lighter colors are going to fad and will also get dirty and dingy looking.

I think the 3rd one is the one I am going to end up getting, I think it will look the best with his coloring and I wont have to worry about it getting dirty or dingy looking like I would the other two.

Thanks for all of your advice :)

And Snanders you know I had to do it :) :)

I meant "fad" as in what is trendy, not fade as in lose color. Lime green is a very trendy color right now, but take it from someone who lived in the 70's, when it goes out of fashion, it goes way out. Ever seen the old green appliances from the 70's?
