I agree...but seeing alot of what goes into preparing futurity horses first hand...I have a HUGE amount of respect at how those (select) trainers get a young horse solid then solid on the pattern. It takes a special person and a special horse.
Some horses turn better stiff...but its ALWAYS important to have a horse supple in all areas off the pattern...regardless of style.
