Yes I've been running barrels on the 3year old, not a lot as she's still young. That's why I want so something I can run now. But she's so smart she's already patterned and almost totally automatic. Even if the gelding doesn't turn out to be a 1D barrel horse, I figure since he's registered I could pattern him, get him solid and then hopefully sell him for more?

After hearing your opinions I think I'm just going to keep her, unless someone offers me the $3500 I'm selling her for. There's a lot of people here that breed race-type quarter horses so if I get that money ill probably just talk to one of them and get a 3 or 4 year old that couldn't handle the pressure of loading into the gate. Thank you guys so much.(:

I'm glad to hear that you're keeping your mare. I really prefer her over the gelding. He may not look sickle but there's something odd through his stifle? Your mare has a rather large head and a longish back but there's something about her that I really like. I have no idea about barrels but she's the type of horse I would want. Good luck with her :)

Yeah that picture I posted of her was also from over a year and a half ago it was just the only good conformation picture I had, she's way more filled out now. Although she still does have that big head haha.(:
