It's actually got more grip than ostrich in my opinion. The horse I worked today sets up HARD and digs so deep it's like riding a jackhammer and I never once felt unsecure!

One bratty little mare snatched away from me today walking to the arena and slipped on the concrete and slammed down on her side. She has a few skinned spots but the saddle is perfectly fine! LOL
