I really like Chain of Events. Abd have started a couple of his babies on the pattern. And they are reallly smart and easy to work with.

Man what a pedigree!!

Personally, I'd go for Firewater Ta Fame....Streaking Ta Fame or Eddie Stinson. Definitely a DTF son
Scratch that....A Firewater Flit bred stud, FG or Sunfrost. That's ALOT of run....add some turn :)
So you would go with Firewater Flit bred stud, FG, or Sunfrost bred as opposed to Firewater Ta Fame, Streaking Ta Fame or Eddie Stinson?

My friend's brother breeds QH's for the track. He's had many, many, many winners down in Indiana (where he primarily races) He bred this mare and she never made it to the track but she's just starting in barrels (she'll be 5 this year) and OMG is she going to be good. Too good for local shows. She needs to step it up.

My friend is amazing and has mentioned that she wants her son to sell me Bitty. (This mare) And I would totally take her because of her pedigree. Heck, just for a broodmare alone! Not to menchion how great she'll be in the arena once she's worked with consistently. In the next few years, If I can swing it, I'd like to buy her from my friend. But if they decide not to sell her, I want a baby with a pedigree that'll make people's jaws drop and drag the ground. And she's the mare that'll do it. It's just picking the perfect stallion.

She definitely has the speed, but your completely right that if she's bred, she needs more turn and rate added to her. I've ran her half brother while Bitty's owner ran her and the girl can flat out fly for 300 yards. That's all that I need... ;-)

Here's a picture of her, she's standing a little goofy but she's got a nice chest and shoulder to her. Great personality too. She's about 15.2 hands and I'd personally like to stay around 15 hands. I'm short, don't need a tall horse. But you can see TB in her and I personally wouldn't like crossing to a stallion with a high percentage of TB onto this girl.

I'll let her know, if they even think of selling her, to consider me first. (And I know that they will) And I know they'll give me a good deal on her too.

I'm from Michigan and we don't have any of those top barrel stallion lines around here that I know of. It's kind of a pain actually because I search and search and everything I even consider as a stud prospect is in Texas, Oklahoma or Kansas. LoL. There are a few in Florida, but nothing much in the Michigan/Indiana/Ohio area.

I'm a major sucker for anything "Firewater".....Inevitably, when I'm stud shopping, my favorities are always Firewater babies. (The funny thing being when I look at the pictures I go "Ohhhh I REALLY like this one!" then I scroll down to the pedigree, and its almost always a Firewater that I picked. lol

My favorite has to be Fallon Taylor's boy, Chuck! :) I really hope that he will heal enough to run the pattern again!! I also like Dash Ta Fame and Frenchmans Guy :)
