Your preferred pad?

Been searching and... I have not been impressed.

So... what is your favorite saddle pad for barrel racing/poles/speed in general and why?

There is a thread very similar to this but I'll post anyway..

I love the Classic Equine ESP pads..I have a few and haven't ever had any problems with them. I also like the Classic Equine BioFit, Impact Gel, Best Ever pads.. The ESP are just my favorite, I have the coutoured memory foam with a felt bottom. Great pad!

I love Classic Equine ESP pads and Impact Gels but recently realized we had a Judy Myllymaki 5 Star so I have tried that for the last month and really like it on both of my horses. I was a skeptic when it came to the 5 Stars but I think I am gonna eat my words lol....

Another good pad is EquiPedic GREAT pad!

Conformation is how far the horse CAN go,
Mind is how far the horse WILL go,
Training is how far it DOES go.

I like the Classic Equine ESP pads.

I'm also thinking of trying this pad too... Saddles Tack Horse Supplies - Connie Combs Contour Shock Pad With Inserts Comes with different inserts so it can be used on multiple horses that require different fits for a saddle pad.

when i had my barrel saddle i used a Charmayne James SMx Air Ride Barrel Pad. worked pretty good for me and the horses. sold my barrel saddle and a shaped pad doesnt work with my current saddle so i sold it. the new owner is happy with it too.

All it takes is all you got

I've been looking at the Impact Gel pads, I think I'll give one a try.

Has any one tried to use this brand? It seems like a decent underpad like fitting.
