best half ton

Curious who everyone thinks makes the best half ton for towing and ride comfort.

Im a ford guy. But if I was to buy a half ton, it would be a chevy. The 99-02 body style is built pretty cheap. But the 88-98 are solid trucks. And the 03+ are great trucks.

I personally drive me a Ford F150 4x4 1988 well when I get it fixed I will. My dad drives a 1986 F150 4x4. I like Ford or Chevys in the 80s to now. Some 70s fords but not chevys.

Toyota tundra is what I use and love it

F-150 of most any year. You can find em optioned out any way you like and ford has always built a dang good truck. Every mfg has had their flops but most ford trucks are good vehicles. My second choice would be the Chevy c1500 88-98 as mentioned earlier.

I have a 2011 Dodge Sport. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
9000lbs towing capability. Gives me a lot of options.
