Can a 2010 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V8 Safely Pull a 2 Horse Trailer

It has a 9700 towing capacity, 315 HP and 335 lb-ft torque. I would love any opinions out there :)

No problem pulling it, no problem stopping it with brakes on the trailer and the correct brake controller.

If you are towing in the Mountains, Very Hot areas and long distance, I suggest adding a transmission cooler.

A weigh distributing hitch would also be a good idea

Yup, but its going to be expensive! Agree with the above poster. Make sure your hitch is a good one. Reese is really popular up here.

If my 2004 f150 can pull a 2 horse trailer, a 2010 silverado can.
