thank you. Yes and no. The Previous owner changed it. Everything but the headlights they are the stock 02s. The grille and bumper is off a 05 XL Fseries so are the running boards.

It is said they do but I haven't had any problems to this day. I am part of a ford truck forum and I here very little on this problem on the V10s more on the 5.4Ls. A 5.4L is a V10 just the V10 has 2 more cylinders pretty much. I am not sure if I can recomend other forums but if I can let me know I will let you know the one I am part of and they will help you with these questions.

the plugs don't have a long life by any means, but they arent known for breaking off as much as the 5.4s. They tend to burn oil and blow intake gaskets. They arent bad if theyre used for towing occasionally. But if theyre worked hard on a consistant basis, theyre like the dodge v10s and chevy's 8.1 in that they don't have a very long life

that looks nice. Very rarely do you see a cut 05 grille come out right not saying it can't be done but I would keep the 04 grille. Just my advice but hey it is your truck.

I've done a lot of custom fab work. I build pulling trucks for a living so a grille will be no problem

I know how you feel I am doing and engine swap from a 98 ranger to a 00 ranger on a buddies truck I haven't had time to work on the 9 vehicles of ours. Our Bronco 2 is all that is getting attention right now it is cheapest on gas. I want to get my 88 F150 going but I have had time to put my rear fuel tank in and being sick for the past week slows me down even more.
