When we bo't our one and only Dodge brand new, a number of things weren't right. Passenger door was difficult to shut properly, even if the driver's was wide open. Took it back over this 4 times with the dealership always claiming it was fixed. Bull. Then something to do with a front brake. This is with less than 3000mi. Loaned it to a gal to attend her sister's funeral which wasn't served by any public transportation. She called crying, the rear end was gone. Got that fixed. When we took the bill in for reimpursement we mentioned the door for the fifth time. One very cold morning we stopped to give someone's battery a boost and as the hood was closed some of the letters fell off. How appropriate, the remaining letters spelled DO G and we let it at that. Shortly after that there was trouble with the steering arm. Altho this was all under warranty, few people have the time to keep running back and forth to the dealership. That soured us from buying another.

i owned a 04' chevy 2500 duramax. it was a great truck. loaded to the gills. and was a worker too. used it for hauling my construction trailer around. and for pleasure trips too. after that i owned a 02' ford diesel work van. it to was a powerful engine. but the front end had problems after i got rid of it. never owned a dodge. but many around do. thing i dont care about dodge is that they seem mighty cheaply built in the interior. like they skimped on quality. feels like im riding in cheap junk. where as the chevy i owned felt like quality and luxury.

course you pay more for the chevy/gmc than you will a dodge. same with ford. but i like the quiet raw power of the chevy diesel over the loud obnoxious noise of the dodge and even the ford diesels. course most dodge folks i know LOVE all that noise.

I'm a Chevy girl all the way....

Conformation is how far the horse CAN go,
Mind is how far the horse WILL go,
Training is how far it DOES go.

I owned 3 fords that I bo't used, all standards and each one clocked very close to half a million miles without major repair. Brakes and a power steering hose in all three. The one I have know is a 4x4, auto and many days I long for my previous truck. This one has definitely proved itself in winter storms like the others couldn't.

Ford all the way!!!!!

Okay so my family and I were in a wreck last week and we were driving a ford F250 and we had turned a corner and a half ton dodge swerved into our lane and hit head on the drivers side. Our ford had a couple scratches and the power steering is out :( but it's already fixed in just a weeks time :) the dodge on the other hand is completely totaled and won't ever be driven again :/ all the cops at the scene were coming over to complement us on our truck LOL
