Motorcycles anyone??

Does anyone else ride motorcycles as well as horses? If so, what do you ride? How often? How do you decide whether to go with 1 horsepower or many horsepower?

I sold my bike a few years ago as my lifestyle changed a lot and it just didn't make sense to have it sitting there unused. But motorcycles are my second passion, I would love to have another at some point.

I had a Suzuki SV650, it was a sports bike but with a V twin engine so it had nice progressive power.

I've done a lot of riding from sports bikes to dirt bikes to supermotards. Also rode a lot of street miles and track time.

Here's some pics - please excuse the helmet hair.

i have an 06 Honda CBR 600rr, i dont ride it as often right now bc it needs to be lowered down some more and once it does ill ride it around when its nice out, but unfortunately i wont ride it to work. i live an hr away from work and the road i have to take goes right down the middle of town which is super busy bc downtown is where the college is, everyone probably knows about the University of FL so yea way to dangerous with crazy college kids and people who dont pay attention.

I rode for ~30 years but gave it up a few years ago. Loved it but too many morons down here to ride safely. My last one was a 1,200cc Triumph Trophy sport touring bike - loved that bike. Always wanted a Ducadi.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Is that because of your height? If so, have you tried to shave some of the underside of the seat off instead? That way it does not effect the handling of the bike as much.

iride - I love Ducati's but my next bike would be the Speed Triple.

I ride dirt bikes. Nothing fancy, just an 80cc two stroke. I do really like it but it doesn't even compare to the horses.

Laugh thanks AB. There's no helmet law in PA, but I always rode in full leathers and helmet. I kind of prefer to have skin and a brain.

Foxy, here's a walk through of how to do it with helpful pics. Quite a few of the female riders I know have done it to enable flat footing.
