New rig!

Got my new rig today.

Actually we've had it for about a week but I've been on vacation so today is my first day.

Its a 2014 Smeal 105 ft, ladder.
I ve already run 8 calls since 0700 including one pin-in wreck. I'm loving it so far.

How hard it is to turn that thing?

I had an old Ford Van once where the driver sat in front of the wheels, took some getting used too

for a truck that big it handles like a corvette. It turns alot sharper than our old one. It's gonna take some time learning to not start my turn to soon or I'll curb it. Especially in the downtown where things get a might tight.

It is not enough to know how to ride; one must know how to fall.
