    Yes you're close. The pickup needs to be taken into a mechanic who is used to dealing with 6.0's. With the right changes to them they make one heck of a motor from what I've been told by those that have owned them. Without those changes they are an expensive POS to keep running. My cousin has one and put thousands into repairs until he found out what was needed to fix it. Once he made those changes (several thousand more) he hasn't had another problem. The changes cost my cousin about 2,500 but he has a total of about 10,000 into that motor all told.

    yea that could very likely be the issue too
