My Valentine's day gift!

Practical for snow and horses plus hubby decided as a tiny woman, I needed a BIG truck. I know absolutely nothing about it other than it's huge, has way more buttons that I will ever hope to figure out, has a diesel engine so I will be able to get it started in our lovely sub-zero temps and will haul a horse trailer without an issue. Oh and it apparently has On-Star....whom is awfully nice when you call them by pushing random buttons to see what they do.

that's a badass truck! a turbo diesel is definitely next on my list after the vette is paid off in 12 months.

Thanks! After needing to drive through the snow we have yesterday, I absolutely love it.

My hubby doesn't ride, so it's going to so nice that I have plenty of room for my daughters and will be able to load up the horses and haul them easily, myself.

Just need to go get the trailer brakes checked, a hitch and I am all set.

those are such a blast to drive. do you have a backup cam or the backup sensors on it? i KNOW i can't drive big vehicles like that and i'm going to make sure it comes with it, or i put it in aftermarket.

Nope, didn't come with either. Hubby signed me up for driving lessons with my trainer (she's been hauling horses, long distance, for years and as a paramedic, drives an ambulance), so I'll be practicing with a flat bed trailer, a small horse trailer and then the giant horse trailer.

One she says I am proficient at driving and backing a trailer, hubby said he'll buy me a horse trailer.

I may add a backup cam at some point but trainer and hubby insist I need to be proficient without one first.

if only the majority of SUV/Truck drivers were like you... There'd be a lot less accidents on the road and even less side swiping/hit & runs. Good for you!

my wife knows how to drive a truck very well with a horse trailer. her parents have an f350 and she amazes me in that thing!

I own a 2001 Buick Regal.. It has more problems than I could even think of but, it's still a good car.

That's the only picture I have of my car... Me and my brother were sitting on top of it after washing it.
