[QUOTE=dashforcache;803532]Ok, I love these posts about as much the horse posts, we have a 1972 Buick skylark, don't have good pics right now so will post those later.that one is mostly the boyfriends but I still get to drive it...except it's not being driven at the moment.Heres our little drift car...'91 Nissan 180SX imported from Japan so it's right hand drive...this one we share, very rare in our area, only one other one in town and quick too.
They are everywhere her and are used for drifting :)
I forgot this thread existed. Ha.
Maybe I should update. My other Corolla was no longer cut out to my amount of driving, so he was given to my younger brother and I bought a 2009 Corolla in July.
This is C.L.U. If you've seen Tron, you'll probably get it. The gauges inside glow orange and the car is dark gray. So it was named CLU. Haha.
Fancy! I'm definitely not a Ford person, sorry, but I hadn't seen a 2012 Focus. Neat. My 2009 Corolla gets 27mpg in town. I've only driven in on the highway a couple times because I haven't gone home since I've been back at school, so I'm not sure highway yet. We'll find out in a couple weeks when I go home for Thanksgiving.
My 2000 Corolla got about the same. It got around 30mph highway, which isn't bad at all for a 12 year old car..even more so because it burned oil on the highway faster than it burned gasoline.. (Hence it's retirement from my use). Sad that I got one that was in that small percentage of the engine issue. I would kill for that car to work properly. I loved it.
Thanks Po. I went with every intent of driving a Lincoln MKZ home but after driving the focus and the price difference, I changed my mind. I hated the old ones, they've definitely improved. Much more sporty. Hubby wanted a Corolla or Civic but we've got a really good relationship with the local Ford dealer, he always treats us right.
My mom has a really good friend who works for the Ford dealership at home. I told him I'd buy a car from him if it was a Toyota or a Chevy.
When car shopping, I didn't drive anything other than a Corolla or a Rav4. I didn't have the money to finance a Rav, but I wanted to see how they drove. I really liked it. The newer ones aren't nearly as topheavy as the older models and it drove just like my dinky 2000 Corolla, just bigger.
Here's my girl, she's a '67 mustang and is a special order for Playboy Playmates in Passion Pink. I have had her for two almost 3 years. These pictres where when I first got her and she was missing a lot of chrome. She looks ton's better now.
