Smile show your car u love it.

There are more ways to show your car you love it that I can think of and you may know what i'm going to type, but here it is anyway:

    1. Get emissions tested every year (i'd say once or twice)
    2. Before and after every long ride, see if your tires need air.
    3. DON'T WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE TO REFILL YOUR GAS TANK!!!
    4. Check your oil once or twice a year

    Good luck w/ u'r cars.

While make a great point of taking car of your car the oil and oil filter should be changed every 3,000-5,000 miles. Don't forget about changing the air filter (around 12,000 miles) and fuel filter (we do spring and fall). About once a week I pop the hood and check the brake fluid level, coolant, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid levels as well as looking for leaks. Also once every few months I will pull my spare tires down (it is under the truck) and check the air pressure in that... doesnt do you any good if it is flat!!! I also think everyone who drives should know how to change oil and be able to put on a spare tire.

With a deisel engine it is 7000 miles between oil changes. Or, if it is rarely driven every 3 months.

Not true, I worked for an oil changing company and diesel oil breaks down just as fast as regular oil. Diesel oil was usually the dirtiest. Here's an article about changing oil in your diesel.
