I've read the story earlier today, and it's just complete bs (excuse my french). I mean, c'mon, go for saddles, bridles, etc. if you need to steal something, but not a live creature. And on top of it it belongs to little kid. That's just sick. I really REALLY hope that moron(s) will be caught and put in jail (and smacked coupe times good by people who find him/her/them).

Unfortunatley she is a solid dark bay mare. No white markings, no brand, no microchip. Her only distinguishing feature is a scar on her hip.

I would guess the massive public campaign for her recovery put a little too much pressure on them and they were afraid of being caught with her
