Cow Savvy & Team Penning

I thought yall would enjoy our latest video of one of the 3 year olds we bred, raised and started and his first lesson sorting calves. Texas Longhorns have definitely written the book on "cow savvy" and we think this youngster has real natural talent! LOL

Yes, DrumRunner Longhorn Riding Steers ARE totally neat! and they can do just about everything a horse does, except they go moo instead of whinney ....and where a horse's first instinct is panic & run, a Longhorn will stop & think.

Now that’s what I call a cow horse.

I can just imagine the other cattle though, shaking their hooves in disgust yelling “traitor!!! Judas!!!”

Very cool.

There on the tips of fair fresh flowers feedeth he; How joyous his neigh,
there in the midst of sacred pollen hidden, all hidden he; how joyous his neigh

actually, not bumpy at all! Longhorns have a long, ground covering stride at the walk, They kinda saunter!
