I was in my very first cutting competition in October and as you can tell by the picture, my face absolutely shows my terror. I am hoping that the next time I ride, my face will look more relaxed. I rode a finished cutting horse named Hickory. Paul has been continously training this fall, winter, and now spring. He and I are finally going to come together and compete as a team in July. I'm really looking forward to it. Will make sure to post pics as we compete. My trainer said that he is going to make an amazing cutter after he'd been seasoned.
Not sure what competitions I will be entering in. In Ohio, we have a belt buckle class but I don't think I am that good yet so I will probably just hang out in the beginner class for this year. My trainer is taking Paul to the NCHA competition in Findley Ohio in June. No sure what he will enter him in for that show. Will keep everyone updated. Thanks for the compliments.
