I will pitch in with my less glorious pictures from last winter - when I was a a cutting clinic and got to sit on a finished cutter for the 1st. Time in my life.. and boy what a ride - I think the pictures speak for themselves = I did not expect the horse to move that FAST!

- I have to say I was pretty beat after that ride haha!

I would love to try this but my gelding is unfortunately terrified of cows

Have you tried to have him follow the cow side by side to an experienced cow horse? I have seen a horse that was afraid of cows do very well and he lost his fear completely after few sessions with a seasoned horse.. they get confidence from the more experienced horse... just takes some time, but when they figure out they are the ones who pushes the cows around then you're golden!

Awesome pics! I'd love to try cutting one day, my 2 year old lives to track the cats through the pasture, I think she would have fun with it
