I was at a penning practice last night and riding a friends horse because there wasnt enough room for my gelding in the trailer. Anyways...I was riding a horse that knows penning threw and threw! I swear he can read the numbers on the cows. Well I messed up at the wing and I should have stepped up to help the girl on my team because the cows went wide around the pen...well one cow got between us and went back down the wall. I was doing a full out gallop down the wall to turn the cow back...I remember thinking that the cow was going to stop and the horse was going to stop but I wasnt...next thing I knew I was on the ground! Hahaah
The guy that owns the horse was also on my team and all I heard was him yelling at me to get back on so I did. I got back on and was running down to the pen before I was all the way back on the horse...we still managed to get a 48 second run! Hahhaha Not to bad!
I havnt laughed that hard in a long time...felt pretty good! Just thought id share!
