Congrats!! I was hooked my first time riding the flag as well :) What an awesome opportunity, some days I have serious thoughts of leaving my 8-5 desk job to be a loper...It's hard work, but I'm sure you will have a blast :)

You know he is bred for your new job and I'd love to bring home the old fart. We may be down that way in March for spring break, if time allows I'd love to stop and visit. I'll make sure I pack my boots.

Down the road if you are still at it, I'll send little miss sassy pants to you for finishing.

Thank y'all!! I'm very happy about it!

MHF, All the more reason of why I *need* Woodstock! Lol I don't need a new horse at all but there's always room for him at my house. I'd love to have y'all down again if you ome this way. I would definitely take miss sassy pants! I'm thinking we need more Honor pics, I haven't gushed over her lately! I think Hickory's only problem on going home with you is the cold! It's been in the 20s and 30s here at night and he usually runs from his blanket but he trotted right up and stood there with the look of "Finally! I was freezin' mom!" He does show me how much he loves it by rolling in it and getting it filthy and then scratching his butt on the gate so there are lovely red marks on the blanket.

It hasn't been hitting 30 here for a high, he'd be a very unhappy old man and my fuzzy fatso would sweat just standing outside at your house lol. I'll get some new Honor pics this weekend. She's a little tank but with winter fuzzies she looks even bigger. I'll let her in the indoor and get some, she loves a good roll in the sand and then takes off bucking and farting - good entertainment.

That is insane. It's 46 here now and I'm in hoodie and a jacket outside. I would love to have snow for a few days though, we haven't even had our usual flurries this year.

I bet she is. Such a snot, I can't wait until she's old enough to start under saddle.. Should be a fun time!

So, very bummed and sad about my update. I had to turn down the job.. I'm not going to be able to do it because I won't have health insurance and that's something I cannot go without because of my autoimmune disorder and seizures. There are other personal reasons that factor in but that's the main reason. I've been pretty upset about it and I'm still bummed out but I also have to look out for my health and think about myself before jumping into something.. Now I'm on the hunt for something with benefits so I'll continue to have health insurance.. :(
