Thanks! He's quite the character. I'll post more pics once he has shed his winter woolies and looks presentable again.

How do I know, besides simply waiting, to know if she will take after the draft side and grow much slower or the paint side and then not grow to much taller? She is a little bit fugly at the moment and I am aware that to some she is a horse that won't amount to much more than a trail horse....which is, in fact perfect for me. She is wonderful and I love her the way she is. It has just been interesting trying to figure out what in the world she will end up looking like!
So......she is shedding out all of her winter fur...and she seems to really be black under there....except for the brown around her muzzle....I guess that still makes her a tri-colored tobiano?

There is no such thing as a tri-colored pinto (well there is, kinda...but it's completely different lol)

She is simply a brown (maybe dark bay) tobiano.

A better picture of Sam. He's still got a pretty thick winter coat, but he's starting to show his true summer colours and his feathers are clean...ish.
