I was just wondering if anyone out there had a 3/4 something and 1/4 Draft cross?
I have a 3/4 TB 1/4 Shire mare (posted pics on the draft and draft crosses thread) and would love to know if there is anyone out there with a draft cross that's not a 1/2
Not sure the exact percentage with my guy, Cody but the older and bigger he gets, I suspect he's more than a 1/4!! His sire is a percheron/paint of unknown cross to me and not sure about his mother but she doesn't look very drafty.
Your mare is a really nice mix. She does look like a warmblood whether she is "official" or not!
We have 3 1/4 drafts and two 1/8 drafts on the way next year
Here are the pics of our 1/4 drafts - all are wb crossed with our 1/2 draft mares. 2 are 1/2 Hano and 1 is 1/2 swedish.
Two - 1 han and the swedish are out of a clyde/hackney horse mare and the other hano is out of a bel/tb mare.
First one - is a 3 yr old CSH mare out of the bel/tb mare by rio grande (hano)- she is in foal to pacific star (kwpn).
This is my 2 yr old 17.2hh Colt by Braveheart (SWB) - He has been bred to a trak/tb (salut) mare and she is in foal).
This is our newest addition - Filly foal 4 months - by ES Donavan (Hano)
