    A friend of mine does them back east with her Belgian. She just recently got an award for 500 miles worth of endurance riding. She works throughout the year conditioning her boy and they do really well together.

    One trainer you might look into if you are really interested in mules is Meredith Hodges. She has made quite a name for herself training saddle mules and really seems to understand them. Plus, mules are incredibly sure footed.
