My 15 hand, 1800 pound Percheron gelding is quite aggressive to other horses. A week ago we got a rescue goat, a large wethered male Oberhasli with huge, foot long horns. He was headed to the meat market and his owner was quite distraught. Our Percheron, Ahab, used to live peacefully with two dwarf goats, but he and the new goat have squared off several times, with the goat (Lucifer) butting Ahab and Ahab chasing the goat. We have a creep stall for Lucifer that he can escape to, but today he came up missing a 3" round patch of hair. Any one have any experience with this? Think they'll work it out?
