Nesdamycart- Her saddle is a Wintec Abetta round skirt flex tree....she has a significant sway back and it fits her well with extra padding in the middle. Here is a pic of her without the saddle.....

Oldhorselady - thanks! I've been looking at the Wintec saddles. She sure is pretty - I looked at all your photos of her - great story - so glad you took a chance on her, the poor sweet girl. I just recently acquired a Clyde cross mare, and I'm looking for a saddle for her - hopefully this weekend!

PS: GORGEOUS photo of you in the long pink dress - very Renaissance-Medieval romantic looking! Someday, maybe I'll get one of me and my mare like that...

Good luck with your new mare! Couldn't ask for better temperment with the drafts! Belle has been a true blessing. If it wasn't for her own effort...we wouldn't be here. Nine months ago she couldn't even walk! Thanks for the interest! Her saddle fits her well for her back being what it is. Decent comfyness for the rider too! Can't wait to see your pics!

Thank you! Temperment was the big draw for me with the drafts - I just wanted a nice steady ride. Belle must have sensed her chance at happiness with you - awesome! Hopefully I'll be adding photos to Lucy's profile after this weekend. Have a good one!

Sorry, but that's like arab people saying "No, they are arabians, not arabs" or standardbred people saying "It's standardbred, not standie"...or appy people saying "They're appaloosas, not appys"...or I could go on, but I think you get the point. Any breed with a longer name is going to have a nickname. That's just the way it is. I don't correct people who say that I have an aussie, when the true name of my dog's breed (well, half of his breed lol) is Australian Shepherd.

Do not tell me I can't...because I will show you that I can.

Oh, thanks for sharing! She is just an amazing looking horse - especially incredible, now that you've told how you found her! Just fantastic - the shine!

Sam doesn't have a saddle. Can't find one.
To give an idea on his size, I am 5'9".
