I am still trying to get my head round understanding what you see as 'draft' horses in the USA. Draft horses in UK usually applies to the Big drafts such as Clydedales, Shires, Percherons and ofcoure, the Irish Draft.
Now what she is - I would say that there is definitely Clydesdale in her (way, way back) because she has the slight feather and a 'blaze' down the front of her face. She also looks like there is a bit of TB in her too and perhaps a bit of QH. She also may have a bit of arab. I'm not an expert and jsut trying to guess by looking at the pictures. How did I do?

She is half shire and half Arabian :)
She just turned six and we are working on adding fat and muscle as she is really under weight
We have the same draft horses in the USA as the UK.... I will try and find some pics of her parents her dam is the shire and her site was an Arabian I will also post pics of Dahlia once she is not a skeleton horse lol

Congrats. She's very pretty.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.
