Getting our first fjords!

Oh yes, tomorrow is the day we pick up our first fjord horses! The mare is well broke to ride and drives as well. Her filly won't be started until next year. Excited!!!! They aren't papered but I don't care. They are beautiful and I'm looking forward to having a small team to drive the wagon my husband is building for me. Yipeeee!

Fjords are wonderful! Congrats! Their manes are fun to design and play with. I love this clip;

That's a cute clip! Yes, I'm looking forward to playing with their manes. The mare needs to get back in shape. She's a lazy butterball but loving and one of those anybody can ride type of horses. She's selling them because she wants to concentrate on her hunter jumpers. I feel so lucky to have found them. My husband says that their manes are too much work...but these horses are MINE and I think that's part of the fun. LOL
