The Gypsy Vanner

Hello everyone! My name is Larissa, y'all can call me Rissa for short. My favorite breed of horse, has always been a Gypsy Vanner. I was wondering if anyone on here owns them, or could give me advice. I am actually doing a speech about them for one of my college classes, and I would like to quote some Gypsy owners on what they personally think about them.

I do not own one yet. Once I get out of college, I will have the facilities and time to provide for one. Please give me any information you have, and pictures are welcome too! Thanks!

Here's the site of a breeder - they also have contact info that might help you:

All Star Farm Trick Trained Gypsy Vanners and Miniature Horses

ChevyPrincess - I don't know much about the Gypsy Vanner horse, other than it seems that they are usually very calm in temperament.

Good luck with your search.

Hey Princess, I love Gypsies too. Though I don't have any horses just yet. Here are some good sites to lear about them, or to see whats for sale:

http://www.harlequinfarmsgypsyhorses.com This site has lots of good info and a forum just for people who like Gypsies.

American Gypsy Horses - Home This is a great sale site a they have horses from many different breeders.

Gypsy Horse links And this is a list of breeders by state.

Hope this helps. I just got back from the Heartland Feathered Classic, and there were about 100 Gypsies there. I got to show a couple for some friends and they really do have just the most wonderful temperaments!
