Harness Material? nylon vs. bio vs leather

Ok So as some of you may know I'm looking at a team of Belgians. I know there are the three types of material used, nylon, bithane and leather. I know leather is the heaviest and I've heard Biothane streches and cuts really easy. What I'm looking for is an artical with detail on all three, I've sat for a few hours now and I cant find anything that I want, maybe nobody has done a comparsion on all three, I found one post on the biothane.

I'm looking for something that would be able to hold alot of weight for farm use. The owner of the team has two nylon team harnesses and I'm going to get a harness just so I can use them right off the trailer but looking in advance I want to know what I'm looking for now so if I find a deal I can jump on it.

Thanks for the help!

Nylon is known for being unbreakable...and it doesn't take much upkeep, compared to leather that is. Just my opinion
