    Yearling
So you adopted his mom too? That is great! I wish I could adopt Cody's mom. She was for sale last time I went to the PMU website.....

    Glad he's feeling better.

    Foal
We actually adopted three pregnant mares. They arrived Dec 18th, 2008.

    713 is a 98' black mare(Gypsy)- Peanut's mom

    019 is a 00' Chestnut mare (Cinnamon)- Sterling's mom

610 is a 97' black mare with Blaze (hence her name) and was not supposed to be pregnant (she foaled -China- in late July). My vet actually gave me a credit on my bill for mssing that one...

I actually wanted to adopt Blue Boy, but at that time he was not available. Then we decided after talking to Helen to adopt two mares (713, 019) since it was much harder to place the mares then the babies. 610 is our bonus, she was paid for by a women who adopted two of her foals in previous years.
