How well trained are these horses?

I was looking through some videos and saw this. It is so cool. That is either one talented man or 6 very well trained percherons.

This video was taken at the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison, Wisconsin on April 22, 2007. It shows a guy riding roman on 6 Percherons! The horses are not tethered together nor does the rider have any special boots or anything. Most impressive! The team is known as Texas Thunder and is sponsored by Priefert.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog:

Oh yeah, I saw that! I'm going to assume that they are a very well trained pulling team and the guy is good at balancing 8p.

The hitch will be at the Minnesota Horse Expo again on April 23, 24 and 25.

Jason is an excellent trainer, driver and truly a great person. The team and all of the handlers are outstanding.

I have seen Texas Thunder before. Amazing. He works so hard with those horses. I would love to see it again.
