Alfie, a very stubborn but clever clydesdale/welsh/dales. Anybody else got a stubborn clydesdale or does it come from one of the other breeds ?

    Everyone's "ponies" are soo pretty!

My boy isnt too stubborn... But I havent ridden him much yet. He's pretty bull headed about eating and very persistent about stretching down to eat grass while under saddle no matter how many times he is disciplined... I guess that might count as being stubborn. :) But I have found he is very gentle and smart!

I plan on buying a Clyde when I have an acreage (hopefully this spring, but we will see). I am madly in love with them! If I can pick and choose, it would be a blue roan, but colour is just colour! It's certainly not a make-it or break-it issue!

Alfieblaze- I'm going to guess the stubbornness might come from the Welsh. I have never know a really stubborn Clyde, but every part Welsh I have owned has been stubborn and really smart! I don't know anything about the Dales.
