Not my horse, but a new rescue on the farm. He is a little over 18.5 hands tall and his name is Everest!

Yeah right. I'll give you a week, 2 tops.

If you really want to make your other horse's day, hitch the two of them together. Everest looks like he should be in a pulling contest. (but then you'll have to have another Belgian because Percherons just can't play with the big boys)

If I had the money to support him he would already be mine! Much like when I first started working with Captain, I noticed immediately that Everest has a very sweet personality that he hides behind a very serious face. He can be a little pushy, but nothing that can't be easily worked through.

I'm going to continue working with him, and hopefully his future adopter keeps him on the farm so I can continue to go visit him. He's a very special horse who is going to make someone very happy.

haha!

Since you guys love him so much, here's another photo (And a video!) with my girlfriend Kaitie riding him. Notice Captain in the background of the photo, Everest makes him look like a baby!

Here are some newer pictures of my 2 year old Belgian, Sam. He is still growing since he's only 2, right now he is about 16.2hh and weighs about 1600lbs.

I keep having to wipe away the drool from my computer screen! What gorgeous horses. Here is my new baby gelding. His 'posh' name is Glennane Majestic Clyde - but I called him Saxon. He was 15months when this was taken and 15.3hh. He's been with me 4 months and his bum is 16.2hh and his withers 16.1hh. I am sure he will level out. He really is a sweetie.

Oh wow! He is fabulous and you're riding him Western! He won't stop growing until he is about 6 or 7. Looks like he may make 17.2 or 17.3hh. I think his roan markings are amazing. Handsome boy!

Sure looks like a full Percheron to me. I love her colouring too. It brought back many fond memories of Vaux Brewery in Sunderland UK who used gray Percherons like yours to pull their beer wagons. They were the reason I got into Heavy Horses. Their horses were absolutely huge. Will try and get a picture to post for you...Found one
