Wow! There are some stunning photos in this thread! Here's my girl, Ursula. She's an 8-year-old, Shire/TB cross.

Someday I'll be posting my own pictures in this thread! When I finish up nursing school and become more proficient in my riding (restarting lessons), I will be adding a half draft to the family. Either a half draft horse or half draft mules. I have a soft spot for mules, as the ones I had experience with in the past were amazing animals, and almost too smart, hah!

If I could bring this horse home, I probably would. Yea, she'd need a lot of training, but she looks like a sweetie.

Alas, there is a reason I am sticking with lessons for now. I have almost no disposable income. College costs take most of what I have! I can dream though!

One more of my girl the day I brought her home as a yearling! I had never worked with a draft cross before and I have fallen in love

We tried Ricky Bobby's sheet from last April on him the other night when the temps dipped down.

Needless to say, it was too tight. Poor boy ended up wearing the only thing we had laying around that fit him...

He's 20 months old as of yesterday. We're starting to question whether he's half draft or full draft.

Mom on the right; she's 17.1hh and roughly 2,000lbs. Ricky is basically the same height as her and probably around 15 to 1,700lbs (if I had to guess)
