Right?!! Lol! I'm totally gone on his stout little self. He rings in at about 1350 lbs... Should be 1250-1300, I think. He gets separated at feeding time because he just steamrolls over everyone else's portions.

A vid from this fall. You may want to mute it... Just my men bickering. And please excuse both of our over-all lack of fitness and form, lol!

I've so been soaking in all these beauties! The clydes really seem to cross well, in particular.

Guh! This horse is so cute! He is just begging for a hug!

He may be a little on the chubby side, but he's a nice mover. I love his color too!

Now I must jump on the band wagon and post a video.

This is me and my Shire/TB cross in her first ever canter class. She was so well behaved!

I must get more videos in the spring. We have since done a complete overhaul of our tack. We got a saddle that fits her much better and ditched the kimberwicke so she's using her hind end much more now. Unfortunately it's that time of year when riding only happens once every two weeks or so due to weather and holidays, so we're no longer in shape!

Bugger. Can't be viewed in my country, kilts, lol!

Everyone's drafties are so excellent! I found this FB page for us draft nutters... Some amazing breeds represented! Draft Horse Friends. Great community like this one, which can be a tricky find, as we all know, lol.

Here are my two girls :)

Fiona is an Irish Draught out of RID Hang on Johnny and an APHA mare. She isn't registered, yet... Not entirely sure if I will at this point. She's encroaching 7 years old and I have no intentions of breeding her.

Excuse my equitation, but I love this picture of her. She's so uphill in her canter

Harley is an erm... Percheron/QH - grade. Wonderful jumper though :)

This is a year or so older:

My baby boy

This is Uno. A 13 year old pintaloosa/Percheron gelding. I've been with him, rode and trained him for 8 years. I was planning on purchasing him. Had an agreement with his old owner and my trainer but my trainer decided to deceive me and sell him to the woman who I allowed to "sponsor" aka lease him. Next to that the woman said she had no interest in purchasing him for multiple reasons, including the fact that she knew I love and wanted him. After I confronted my trainer she ended up bashing me to everybody that rode/rides there. It's a very hard thing to deal with. Now I'm hoping I can get in contact with his new owner and purchase him back from her. He was a one of a kind horse and I love him so much. I just pray that something will allow him to be back in my life even if it's me just being able to visit him and I hope that he's being well taken care of.

I had also made a decision after months of heartache that I would love to find a young horse that I can grow up with until I get in contact with Uno's new owner. I ended up purchasing a darling Tb/Morgan yearling colt and he's lifted me up so much. I'm so grateful to have him in my life for so many reasons. It's still hard but with Joker's personality and love I'm getting through each day. It might sound corny but Joker has helped me so much and I am truly grateful.

Figured I would post a couple more of my super duper awesome horse, Rafe. I put a saddle on him today for the first time in almost 2 months and he never batted an eye.

Then I took him outside and told him "whoa" while I went to tie my dog up. He stood as still as a statue the entire time I was away.

He's gotten fat again since he's been out of steady work

It's not fat, smrobs. The saddle has shrunk - I've seen it many times before - fascinating phenomenon and I don't think science has as yet come up with a satisfactory explanation for it.

P.S. He's still one of my favourites.
