Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

@ Indy - What is it with Appys? They can give the best stink eyes of all horses!

That picture screams, "Yeah, leave me tied here...go ahead. Sure, we can ride in the pasture later. I know where there is a big ol' mud puddle...."

Killing threads since 1996.

LOL I seriously don't think I have a single picture of Claymore where he doesn't look like he is seething resentment. Lol He is actually a pretty good and willing guy, but he gives a stinkeye over pretty much everything.

I think that is the most gorgeous pattern I've seen in a long time.

I love all the half drafts. Each one is better looking than the next. And I know others can relate. Nothing is more destructive than an itchy draft horse.

While it is very gorgeous, I have one that is gorgeouser

Cheating a little because we know nothing of his breeding, but most people who see him in the flesh agree that there has to be some draft in there somewhere.

I present Mr Appy Gilmore

This is Persia, my 6 yr old Percheron/QH. She is finally being ridden, only about 5 rides so far, but she's come a long way from a year ago when I got her. I can completely relate to the destructive draftys. Persia has snapped chains and welds from leaning on the fences, and then there was that one corral panel that she didn't bother to lean on, just plow through at a full gallop. She's a cribber and probably the most annoying horse on the property, but I might possibly love her even more because of it. I'm funny that way .

There's a belgian/QH cross at our barn who loves to sit up on the hitching rail and scratch his butt after a nice long ride. It's the most hilarious thing EVER!
