I have a Belgian/Quarter cross. She is having arthritis in one of her feet right now so will have a vet visit in 2 weeks.

I am sorry to hear that. I hope the vet can recommend something to make her more comfortable. How old is she?
Sam got an abscess in his foot last week. Man, it is hard to see the big guys in pain! He is recovering nicely now, but what a worry! He is 24 this year and I stress every time he is even a little off.

Just thought you all would like to see the "makeover" I've experienced with my half-draft (French Breton and Arabian). The first picture was from December 2013, the second from August 2014.

This is what working out does to a girl!

Ecasey, she's smoking!!

I don't remember if I posted these here or not and I'm not really keen on going back through a couple hundred posts to see if I did LOL.

This was Rafe's first experience roping a cow. He was a little unsure at first about galloping with the rope swinging above his head, but once we got a catch, he held like an old pro .

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Man, what a dream! To be able to actually WORK on a horse. I'd like to try that sometime. :)

Love this thread. I really feel that having a part draft mount, really brings the best of both worlds. You guys have great horses, love this thread.

My second buy this summer - Mojo :) He's Percheron/QH and will be trying out dressage as well as being my beginner BF's trail horse.
