Love Peanut, I'm going to hang a pic of him where Stewie the Moose can see it and tell him that's what he needs to grow up to look like

Foal
half draft

This is our QH percheron "Caddilac" or Caddy. We bought her in the spring as a second "anyone can ride" and "husband horse" she is willfull and pushy on the ground (completely spoiled by her previous owner), but completely sensible and safe under saddle-not to mention very smooth at a slow jog and lope. She is somewhere around 17hh, havent gotten the tape out to get a weight, but she has lost lots of weight since we got her (pobably 300 lbs or so)-she isnt just standing in front of a round bale anymore and has some work to do. She is a PMU rescue foal from North Dakota. If anyone can figure out where exactly her brand is from, I would appreciate it. I have done a little research, and can't find anything. Sorry about the poor quality of the photos. You can see the size difference between her and my Reg. Paint (appendix) Blitz.

Seeing all of these pictures makes me want a Draft Cross so badly they are all beautiful and for the boys handsome.

How old is Caddy, mramsay? Put my boy's paint markings on her (he's on about the third page or so) and I think that's about how he's going to look when he grows up. Maybe not quite so on the thick side (not commenting on her weight...she's just wide-bodied), but same general build. He's going to be 17hh+, too.

Any way you can get a closer picture of the brand?

I checked North Dakota's registered brands, there is one that might be it, but I think the angle of the arrow is more pointed up in the registered brand, where I can't say for sure but it looks like the arrow on yours goes straight out horizontally. Name on that brand is:

ANDERSON, CLARK O.
&or KAJSA LOUISA AMALIA
16579 CTY RD 9
SEBEKA, MN

It might also be a brand that was registered at the time and has since fallen into disuse - it might be worth contacting the stockman's association and getting the brand book for the year the mare was born or maybe her yearling year, to see if the brand was registered then.

Then again, it might have just been a private brand they never registered as well, if they didn't have cattle.
