It really does! Raven was my first though too. Cute boy, congrats!

Thanks MH!
I like it MLS, but looking more so for a barn name, could go with Dream, but seems a bit dull for this guy. Kind of want something strong, almost thinking Commrad, but seems to long to yell that when callin him to the barn lol

I like Domino but I think Black Jack fits him better bc of the blue eye.
My mare has one brown and one blue, and our pony, "Toma" (1970-2004, RIP) was a paint with 2 blue eyes--so pretty on ANY horse. Congratulations!!

I liked Primo too <3 One of my favorite characters from a show I used to watch was named Primo.

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

Aragh lol This is crazy, usually I can name a new pet within an hour or two of meeting him/her. Nothing (no offense all) seems to fit just right.
Will be doing more research on names here in the morning, got a bit caught up looking at a couple gypsy websites.

I bet when he matures, he is going to be nice and strong. My favorite "strong horse" name, although I haven't been able to use it for a horse is Altibo. The name of the war horse from "The road to El Dorado."

You may want to maybe look up the phrase "gypsy names" and see what you get, you mind find something interesting there too. Maybe some cool "old world" type name :)

I found some cool looking ones here (you have to scroll down for the masculine names).
