I'm sorry but the way this thread is typed up has nothing to do with my funds....but more or less if it would be worth it in the end...and after a vet check we decided to pass and went a different route.. I am not set up to be a rescuer at this point...I sure wish I could take in all of the needy , abused and poor health horses out there but I can't...

That was probably a hard decision not to take him - I hear you about wanting to take in every needy/abused horse... some stories are heart-wrenching. Seems that there are plenty of those in our region these days, (I acquired Laney's 1/2 sister this summer, as she was needing to be re-homed). All I can do otherwise is donate supplies. Kudos to all of the rescues/people who can give homes to so many more! :)
