So I was trying to get my Belgian used to having his feet handled - I want my farrier to keep coming back..hehe...and while messing around with his feather, found what feel and look like chestnuts...but on his fetlock (please forgive me if the anatomy is wrong...I'm awful with anatomy!)
It didn't seem to bother him more than just having his feet handled. A friend of mine says it's just "calcium buildup" and can easily be cut off. I wanted to ask the rest of the horse world before I take a pair of scissors to my horse's foot. Anyone else have experience with this?
