LOL just remember that she's bigger than you are and is going to get that point across to you sooner or later.

Oh I've already thought about that issue, but i'll just have to deal with that when it happens, i'm hoping that I can establish my dominace quick enough I wont really have a problem later. Granted I know she goeing to test me and push me everyonce in awhile but that's one thing I love about horses, they can be predictible and yet not. =)

Maybe it won't be too bad. My Percheron stud came home as a yearling. He was turned out to pasture with all of our other horses and I did not mess with him at all until I started riding him. He came broke to lead and nothing else. Just this last time I went home, I caught him and my Dad saddled him (I am not tall or strong enough). Within about 20 minutes of leaving the pasture, I was trotting circles in a pen on him. I can't wait for your girl to grow up. I would love to see some summer pix of her all slicked off.

Wow thast cool. I had bought theses two belgian stud colts that were suppost to be halter broke but nope, and now I can barley get near them. Thanksfully they are leaving to go to someone who can handle them better. I have enough confidence to work with one that has been messed with at least a bit but these guys have not they spook over anyhting, but this girl she did really good when we had her out they even drove a golf cart by her and all she did was kinda pin her ears and watch it.Ive been so excited its all I can think of. Now I just have to find a round pin lol

I love that commercial, it is just too cute. Now I said in my earlier post that I didn't do anything with him, I mean training wise. I would go out and pet him all over and pick up his feet; things like that. I am glad to hear that your girl is easier to mess with.

Wel she is halter broke, leads, ties and loads, but she does not like her legs and feet messed with, and when your leading her and stop she tryes to keep going, hopefully it wont take too long to get her corrected on this =) Now I just need to think of a name for her, they call her fancy but I kinda like splash, not sure.
