Pretty horses. What breed is the mare to the black colt with the blaze? I have Fjord but she is probably 14 hands ( one hand is 4 inches) I don't know the european sizes ;( . Size will depend on the breed and size of the parents. , genetics. The balck stallion is pretty, what breed is he ?? I have a percheron cross who is quite tall 16-17 hands, and shire quarter cross mare 16 hands
And a belgian morgan cross mare about 16 hands. All of them are heavy horses draft like. I was told if the Mare is a draft then the foal will be draft like. Don't know how true this is.

All the horses in this album are a Norwegian breed called "døl", they are sadly on their way to being close to extinct. I don't think that will happen for a long time though, the breeding rules for these horses are very strict. My boy has grown quite a bit throughout the summer and fall and is starting to understand that he is a stallion but he thankfully knows that im the boss. Will try to update with some new pics of him soon :)
