Need draft tack resources

Anyone have draft tack resources besides drafttack.com and jeffers?
I'm specifically looking for halters, bridles and bits - thanks!

The problem with most draft tack websites is their products do not fit a living breathing draft. They are mostly undersized, reins are too short and made with inferior leather (or bio. ICK!)

If you're in the front range, try Hilty's (Platteville). If you don't know him and his daughter, they are harness makers. They will make you a custom bridle, E or W. I paid $60 about 10 years ago. It was a decent everyday bridle until someone stepped on his reins.... They are also a Myler dealer and can fit and order a custom made bit (riding or driving). Those should run $100-200 depending. You can also try bighorsefeed. I've not been able to get on the website recently but it's probably me.

If you need a rope halter, I can tie you one as long as you like purple or pink.

If your looking for just a all purpose nylon draft halter, horse.com has one that's good, I used the XL for my 18 hd big headed draft and the regular size for my othe drafts.
Its the halter that has a loop on the nose of the halter.
