Percheron after two years

I have had my percheron, Belle for about 2.5 years. She was in pretty dire straits when I got her after being neglected for a looooooong time. While you can't ask for miracles, I think she at least looks more proportionate now. She used to look like one of those slinky animals....lol.

When I first adopted her:

......and now....maybe a little more muscle?

it's hard not to love Draft horses, just for "being", whether or not they do a darn thing. She looks very calm and happy, and "different".

definitely more mass there.

Of all the drafts, the percheron is my favorite, and the most impressive looking

Awh, you've done an awesome job with her! She looks nearly identical to a Friesian mare I know. Slight sway back and all. She has much more mass in her shoulders and hind quarters. Is her mane hogged?

Thank you Ashley! Yes, her mane is roached. I love it that way on her.
