Percherons

I know there are probably other perchie topics but I'm interested to see how many percheron owners we have on here! I've ridden QH's all my life and I own two and this summer I went over to our friend's and rode their big Perch and fell in love. By this fall, I ended up with two of my own :) So tell me how you got into the breed and post pictures!
Here is mike, the first perch I met and rode

And here are my two girls!

I'm not sure what she is. I know she's part Percheron, not sure if she's half warmblood or half tb or what. She's only around 17hh

I sold him about a year ago, but I used to own a beautiful Percheron Gelding named Bandit. Loved him dearly, and still miss him sometimes. :)

I used to have two but unfortunately, the mare got bitten by a snake a couple of years ago and ended up dying. So now I just have 1.

I had a lovely Percheron mare named Delta. She was my first horse. I just sold her to my mom a few weeks ago, and they've been taking lessons together. I actually went to an orientation to start volunteering at the local horse rescue June 2009, and my mom and I saw Delta there. We fell in love!

And equiniphile, as far as Lenox "only" being 17hh - my girl is a full, registered Percheron and stands at 16hh. That is, mind you, about as short as they get. 17hh certainly isn't too short to be full Perch, though!

I have two half brothers 3/4 percheron 1/4 belgian.
Playing at a favorite mud puddle.....

They are long 2yr olds and pretty short compared to most drafts. Their maternal line was only around 16hh. This summer they finally grew taller than me.
